Imperfection is Beautiful

by - 4:53 PM

Working in the beauty industry there's definitely some pressure to look a certain way. This is something that has always bothered me. I love getting my hair and makeup done and feeling glamourous. I'll throw an edit on my selfies mhmm. I don't think there's anything wrong with that as long as you still feel beautiful without be glammed up. These days it's easier to find someone with work done than to find someone who's completely au natural. I don't have anything against plastic surgery but young girls need to realize that the large majority of "beauty icons" whether it be a celebrity or someone insta famous for their looks has had work done and it's not natural to look that way. People strive for perfection when perfection is unattainable. I have flaws and insecurities. There's a lot of things id change about myself If I wanted to be closer to the worlds standards of perfection but I always try to remember that beauty comes from the inside. Confidence starts on the inside. Don't let anyone make you feel like you need to change something about yourself in order to be beautiful. Love yourself for who you are and surround yourself with people who do the same.

  3. I'm so glad someone mentioned this. I keep seeing all these girls pop up on instagram and people worship them practically for their beauty. I actually interned at a plastic surgeons office and It's just scary what people are willing to do to their face for a beauty fad. I'm not against surgery, but we need to open our eyes a bit. I'm so glad I found you! I am loving your blog. xx
